An Oakland woman died on Thursday after she collapsed at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival five days ago.

Kimchi Truong, 24, died while in a Indio, Calif. hospital, reports MTV News. The coroner's office released a statement saying that the cause of death isn't known and it could take up to six weeks to figure it out.

Police say they are looking into whether drugs or alcohol played a part in Truong's collapse at the festival and subsequent death at the hospital.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, concert promoter Goldenvoice has claimed that the woman's death was the result of an "apparent drug overdose." A statement said, "Last weekend, a festival attendee suffered an apparent drug overdose."

Truong was first taken to the JFK Memorial Hospital after being examined by medical staff on-site at Coachella. She was later transferred to the Desert Regional Medical Center.

MTV notes that major festivals has suffered from several deaths, such as the recent Ultra Music Festival which had one attendee die and a security get trampled by overeager fans.
