Woman falls to death trying to sneak into boyfriend’s apartment

A Brooklyn woman fell to her death while trying to sneak into her boyfriend’s apartment after the two had an argument early Friday morning.

According to the Daily Mail, Hannah Shaw went to a bar with her boyfriend Alex Douglas and some friends, but the couple had a fight and Douglas left without her. Later though, Shaw showed up at his apartment. The 42-year-old locked the door and would not let her enter.

Authorities said she was intoxicated and fell to her death while attempting to climb into his fourth floor apartment window.

“I climbed out there and held her while she was fading,” Douglas told the New York Daily News. “I’m exhausted. I can’t sleep. It’s been horrible.”

Shaw was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The 29-year-old originally from Maine, had been working as a garden manager at a landscaping company called Jungle Design NYC. She moved to New York City in 2007.

Her death remains under investigation.
