A Michigan woman said she was raped by a man acting as a Good Samaritan who offered to help her after her car broke down on Sunday morning.
According to WWJ, authorities said that the woman was sexually assaulted by a stranger that gave her a ride to a gas station after she broke down on the side of a road.
The woman told police that she tried calling few friends after she ran out of gas around 3:30a.m., but was unable to get ahold of anyone in the middle of the night.
The man posing as a Good Samaritan drove the woman back to her vehicle.
WXYZ reported that the 48-year-old woman said while she was refueling her car a lot of the gas spilled onto the ground because she did not have a nozzle. When she was just a few blocks from her home, the car broke down again. Unbeknownst to her the fake Good Samaritan had been following her and approached her with a gun.
The suspect then sexually assaulted her before driving off.
Police are now searching for a white male in his 20's with a stocky build. He was driving a dark colored four-door sedan.
