WWE legend, James Hellwig, has died at the age of 54 after collapsing at a hotel in Arizona. Hellwig fell right in front of his wife, Dana, as they were walking to their car outside of the hotel.

On their official website, the WWE confirmed Hellwig’s death, writing "WWE is shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of the most iconic WWE Superstars ever, The Ultimate Warrior.”

Hellwig was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame ahead of Wrestlemania XXX this past weekend, TMZ reports. He also made an appearance on Monday Night Raw this week for the first time in years.

The AP notes no foul play is suspected in his death and an autopsy will be performed on Thursday at the Maricopa County Medical Examiner's Office, according to Scottsdale, Ariz., police spokesman Sgt. Mark Clark.

"We are grateful that just days ago, Warrior had the opportunity to take his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame,” the WWE also said of Hellwig, who legally changed his name to Ultimate Warrior.

Hellwig leaves behind his wife and their two daughters.
