WWE superstar Cold Stone Steven Austin has come out in support of gay marriage. This news comes from an older podcast that Austin recorded in which he shared his thoughts about gay marriage. Austin is known for his weekly podcast that is a must listen within the wrestling community, but this clip just surfaced online.
USA Today reported that Austin used some profane language in explaining his thoughts on the topic but is very supportive of gay marriage.
USA Todayis also featuring the audio from the podcast.
Austin explained clearly this thoughts on his past podcast by saying, "What also chaps my [expletive], some of these churches, have the high horse that they get on and say ‘we as a church do not believe in that.’ Which one of these [people] talked to God, and God said that same-sex marriage was a no-can-do?”
Deadspin added that Austin went into even greater detail later on in the show asking the audience why if someone who had committed murder accepts God why he is forgiven and gets to go to heaven. "OK, so two cats can't get married if they want to get married, but then a guy can go murder 14 people, molest five kids, then go to [expletive] prison, and accept God and He's going to let him into heaven? After the fact that he did all that [expletive]? See that's all [expletive] to me, that don't jive with me."
