Audiences can prepare for another version of the horror film, Rosemary’s Baby. The re-make starring Zoe Saldana has been shooting in Paris.
Saldana was seen in photo taken in France, according to The Huffington Post. Saldana, previously known from James Cameron’s Avatar and Star Trek, plays Rosemary in the new re-make of the horror film.
This re-make is a four-hour series directed by Agnieszka Holland. Holland, a three-time Oscar nominee, said, "It has more adventures. It has more blood. It is, you know, a contemporary American TV series, so you need some meat inside," according to the Associated Press.
Holland is a Polish director known for the HBO shows, The Wire and Treme. It is based on the novel by Ira Levin. Patrick J. Adams stars as Rosemary’s husband in the film. Jason Isaacs and Carole Bouquet will also star in the movie.
The original Rosemary’s Baby was a 1968 film. It won Ruth Gordon an Oscar for best supporting actress.
Rosemary’s Baby will air on NBC on May 11, Mother’s Day.
