ZZ Top and Jeff Beck announced a co-headlining five week tour together from August to September, which will also feature a few songs together closing out each show.

According to Rolling Stone the pairing is not a new one, where Billy Gibbons and Beck jammed together onstage playing “Foxy Lady” and ZZ Top’s “Rough Boy” during the 2009 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction.

In the press release on Jeff Beck’s website, Beck himself admitted he has been a fan of the “Sharp Dressed Man” hit makers, stating, “Ever since Eliminator I thought it would be great to play with ZZ Top.” Frontman Billy Gibbons returned the compliment saying, “Ever since experiencing ‘Jeff’s Boogie,’ the prospect of performance with Jeff Beck on the deck brings us into focus with the curator of crunch.”

With 20 dates released, with more possibly to come, Beck and ZZ Top tour will include stops in Montana, California, Missouri, Illinois, and up and down the east coast. No dates yet on when tickets will go on sale.
