At the end of last week's hour, Jack realized his fake ID to get into the embassy wasn't going to work, so he improvised in the only way that he knows how. After shooting a couple protesters in the leg to incite a riot outside the gates, Jack makes his way into the U.S. embassy with agents Morgan and Ritter right on his tail.

With Chloe's help, Jack finds his way to Lt. Tanner. Jack takes out the in-room guard and tells Tanner that he believes him when he says his drone was hijacked. Tanner tells jack that the flight key is on the person of the guy he'd just knocked out. Jack leaves Tanner in the room, still locked up, but tells him he'll be out of trouble soon as long as Jack does what he needs to do.

And what Jack needs to do first is get out of the embassy so he can access the flight key. Chloe talks him out, guiding him to where the chasing Marines aren't. Jack gets to the sub levels of the embassy, but the key card he has isn't working anymore. The Marines cut off all key card access when they found Tanner's guard knocked out. Jack tells Chloe to find the secure communications room.

On the terrorist side of things, Margot is almost ready for her plans to be carried out. Yates' device is just about loaded and ready for Navid to pilot the drones. The only problem for Margot: Navid is planning on fleeing the compound with Simone, not wanting to be a part of killing innocent people. Simone spills the beans to her mother, but asks that she not hurt her husband.

Jack makes it into the comms room. There are three embassy employees inside. Jack begins to upload the flight key, but it's encrypted (duh). Cross sends Jack a program that will decrypt it and sent it to Open Cell, but Chloe tells Jack that it will take some time. The Marines are closing in on the comms room. Jack asks Chloe if they're wearing body armor, and in a total Jack Bauer move, he shoots two marines square in the chest when they try to open the door, knocking them back, but not doing any damage.

Morgan and Ritter talk to Tanner about Jack. Tanner says he'd never met Jack before that afternoon, but he helped him because Jack was the only one to believe him so far. Morgan thinks Tanner is telling the truth, but Ritter is as skeptical as he's been about everything so far.

President Heller finishes up his speech to Parliament. After the immediate barrage he got right when he started, the members of Parliament seemed to have settled down enough to let Heller finish, and even applauded him afterwards. During the speech, Boudreau gets a call from Navarro about the Bauer situation at the embassy. Boudreau pulls Heller and Audrey aside privately to tell them what's happening. Heller says the Marines aren't to do anything until he talks to Jack himself.

Margot goes to confront Navid about his plans to leave. He tells her he won't do it, and that no matter what Margot does to him, he still won't budge. Margot tells her henchman to hold Simone down and keep her left hand steady. And there does Simone's pinky. Simone is in immense amounts of pain, and Navid changes his tune and says he'll do it.

The download is still working and Jack gets a call that happens to be from Heller. Jack explains the situation, which is 100 percent truthful, but it's falling on deaf ears, except Audrey's and Morgan's, who is listening in on the call. Heller tells Jack there isn't much he can do for him after he'd shot two people outside the embassy. Jack says they were only grazed, and when asked how he knows that, he responds with the Bauer-iest response of the episode: "Because I pulled the trigger." Jack asks for 15 minutes and he'll have all the evidence he needs to prove the drone was hijacked and an attack is imminent. Heller hangs up and eventually comes to the decision to send the Marines in.

Morgan asks Ritter to cover for her while she climbs through the air vent to get into the comms room to talk to Jack. When she drops in, she tells him she believes him and that she wants to help. She tells jack that she'll take the flight key and get the information of it to give to the President. When the Marines blow the door, Morgan already has Jack "subdued." She takes Jack into CIA custody.

Yates' device is operational. Margot now has control over American drones throughout the world. She takes immediate control over the ten that are closest to London, with Navid reluctantly at the controls.
