An eight-year-old girl in Tampa, Florida called 911 when her mother went into labor and helped deliver her little brother.
According to Action News, Krystle Garcia went into labor on Monday morning and could make it to the hospital so her daughter Jasmine called for help.
"My mom is pregnant and her water just broke. She is in so much pain," the little girl told the operator.
The Tampa Bay Times reported that the 911 dispatcher spoke to the eight-year-old in a relaxed tone and guided mother and daughter as the baby started to emerge.
"Even though she was telling her what to do, that's a lot for an 8-year-old," Garcia said.
When Paramedics arrived, they completed the delivery of a healthy baby boy named Joseph James Snyder, who weighed five pounds 10 ounces.
The 29-year-old mother and her son were taken to a nearby hospital.
Garcia, her son and his big sister, who helped deliver him, are all doing well.
