The trailer for Begin Again, starring Adam Levine and Keira Knightley, has been released, showing the Maroon 5 frontman in a way we haven’t seen him before.
We’ve seen him on the small screen as a mentor on The Voice, and we’ve seen him melt girls all over the worlds’ hearts on stage, but now we’re seeing his acting chops.
It’s a bit of a collision of talents for Levine, however, as he plays a rock star adjusting to life in the limelight in the film.
People reports Knightley plays his girlfriend, who’s also his songwriter.
It was new territory for Pirates of the Caribbean star, Knightley, too, as her real singing voice is featured in the film. Mark Ruffalo and Hailee Steinfeld are also featured in Begin Again, as well as Levine’s former Voice co-mentor, Cee Lo Green.
In the newly-released trailer, Levine also reveals his new single “Lost Stars.” Watch it below:
