Britney Spears is close to extending her Las Vegas residency with her Britney Spears: Piece of Me show.
New York Daily news reported that Spears was offered $12 million to continue her popular show in Las Vegas. If the deal was finalized Spears would be staying in Las Vegas until December 2016.
A senior executive at Caesars Entertainment confirmed that the casino representatives are in full support of Spears continuing on with her show which has been popular amongst Las Vegas tourists.
Caesars Palace President Gary Selesner discussed the opportunity released during the Vegas Uncork’d by Bon Appétit Master Series dinner. “Britney Spears has been a great success for the company and will be extended, if she wants to do it, and I cannot see why not,” explained Selesner. “She has been filling out the place every night, and she is enjoying it and is in good health.”
The "Piece of Me" show runs for about 90 minutes and started back in December of 2013. The performance takes place at the Axis theater which holds 4,600 fans, Billboard reported. Spears has been selling out the venue night after night.
