Pop diva Britney Spears is being offered $12 million to continue with her Las Vegas residency until Christmas 2016, rather than late 2015, as was originally planned.

A senior executive at Ceasars Entertainment confirmed to New York Daily News that Spears has had great success with her show, filling the venue and having the continued support and attendance from her fans all over the world. The fact that Spears lip-syncs through most of her show doesn't stop them from paying up to $300 to see her elaborately-choreographed numbers.
“Britney: Piece of Me” premiered in December 2013. Katy Perry, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus and other celebrities were in attendance and praised the show.
While the show has received mixed reviews, many of them have been positive and have celebrated Spears' style, choreography and costumes.
What has been called a “gamble” by The Los Angeles Times has proven to be a bet worth taking on and betting on again.
