Bryan Cranston may have a role in the blockbuster Godzilla, but his now-iconic performance as Walter White in AMC’s Breaking Bad is still what everyone asks him about. During a CNN interview this week, he got fans of the show excited for more than just the Better Call Saul prequel series.

Cranston was on CNN Thursday to promote Godzilla, which has been in theaters for three weeks already, when Ashleigh Banfield just had to ask about Breaking Bad. According to Uproxx, she suggested that Walter didn’t really die at the end of Breaking Bad, since they never saw the body bag.

“Is he dead?” she asked him, notes USA Today.

“I don’t know,” he replied, but Banfield continued to press on. “No movie? No nothing? No Walter White ever again?”

“Never say never,” Cranston replied.

While it’s not known if we will actually see the further adventures of Walter, there is a strong possibility that we may see him before the events in the series. It was reported that Cranston and his co-star, Aaron Paul, were in talks to take recurring roles in Better Call Saul. That series is tells the story of attorney Saul Goodman before Walter hired him. Jonathan Banks and Michael McKean will also star.

Better Call Saul is expected to premiere later this year.
