The Twitter universe has had plenty to talk about lately, between show season finales (or the approach of them), sports events such as the NHL playoffs and NFL draft, rich and famous (or quasi-famous) people getting themselves into sticky situations, and other, more meaningful news stories from around the country and the globe, such as the developing trial of Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
On Monday, May 12, in particular, if celebrities on Twitter weren't promoting the upcoming season finales of their shows, or doing usual, insignificant things like sharing photos, making jokes or observations and thanking fans, they were talking sports and news stories. One hot topic was the scandalous saga of Clippers owner Donald Sterling, who has faced public and media wrath for racist comments he made to a girlfriend.
Check out what two celebrities had to say about the matter, as well as other tweets in this list of the top ten celebrity tweets of May 12.
