The explosive success of Disney's Frozen has resulted in a planned new franchise for the Mouse House, but before they can release their planned Broadway musical, they are going to bring at least one of its characters to the small screen.

On the Once Upon a Time Twitter account, noted on Slashfilm, they teased the following:

This follows the show's introduction of Queen Elsa in the show's finale.

The clip of the scene can be seen below:

Considering the studio is considering a sequel along with the musical and other options for expanding the movie, this continues the studio's notion from CEO Bob Iger that Frozen is now one of their top five franchises.

Additoinally, when showrunners Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz spoke to Entertainment Weekly, they revealed that Elsa will not be the only character from Frozen that they are bringing onto the show.

As Horowitz commented when asked about whether or not Elsa's appearance was the only character from the movie fans were going to see, he said, "Yeah — we’d be disappointed if Elsa was the only one we saw, but we’re not quite ready yet to tell you who else we may encounter."
