Christina Ricci is expecting her first child with husband James Heerdegen.
A rep for Ricci confirmed the news to PEOPLE, after the 34-year-old actress was seen Saturday wearing a belted black dress that displayed her baby bump while she walked through LAX with Heegerden.
According to E! Online, the former Pan Am star had managed to maintain her pregnancy secret for some time. She posted a selfie on Twitter last month, but her bump wasn't visible through the loose-fitting shirt she wore.
Ricci and camera technician Heedergen met on the set of Pan Am. They went public with their relationship February 2012 and were engaged a year later. The couple married in October at Manhattan’s Harold Pratt House & Peterson Hall in a private ceremony.
The acctress had previously described her excitement before tying the knot, stating that she just couldn't wait to call Heegerden her husband.
“He's my favorite person on Earth,” she raved about her then husband-to-be.
She now has another reason for excitement and anticipation, as this will be the first child for both of them.
