New court documents have revealed what accused Boston bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev wrote in a note while he was hiding out in a boat in Watertown.

According to WHDH, the papers were filed with the US Attorney’s Office and in the note, Tsarnaev wrote about jealousy toward his brother Tamerlan, who died during a police shoot out.

The note talked about his brother’s soul being “very much alive” and that his part in God’s plan was to “hide in this boat and shed some light on our actions.” He also talked about Muslims being “one body.”

KSDK reported that Tsarnaev’s attorneys are trying to prevent Tsarnaev’s notes and other statements made from being presented at trial, including some made in his hospital room after capture.

Prosecutors were arguing that at the time, police were worried there were other bombs that had been put in place and the interrogation would have been a crucial part of the testimony.

It was also reported that the brothers used Christmas lights to make the bomb fuses while model car parts were used for the remote-control detonators, according to KSDK.
