It was recently announced that Joaquin Phoenix would be joining Woody Allen's next project and now joining Allen will be The Amazing Spider-Man 2 star, Emma Stone.
Variety added that even though the film is currently untitled, it has been predicted that Allen will be producing, writing and directing the project. This is a very normal style for Allen who normally takes control of all aspects of his projects.
Allen and Stone first worked together on the upcoming Magic in The Moonlight, which is the current working title of the film. The story will focus on an Englishman who is trying to deal with what could be a con taking place during the 1920s in the south of France, Deadline added.
Allen is known for his complex and unique scripts. His latest film, Blue Jasmine featured Cate Blanchett who won an Oscar for her role in the film.
Emma Stone can currently be seen playing opposite her real life boyfriend, Andrew Garfield in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in the iconic role of Gwen Stacey. On opening weekend the film grossed over $92 million domestically at the box office.
