A Fox News anchor was arrested at an airport on Wednesday.
According to USA Today, Gregg Jarrett, 59, was at Minneapolis-St. Paul airport when he police were informed that a man inside the Northern Lights Grill was creating a disturbance. He was reportedly belligerent and refused to cooperate with the police.
He was charged with obstruction of a peace officer with a bond of $300.
The Washington Post reported he was taken to Hennepin County jail to be booked and was finally released early the next morning.
Jarrett is a co-anchor on Fox New’s America’s News HQ and was recently taking some time away from work.
Not many details have been released of the incident, although Jarrett’s mugshot appeared on social media.
The Star Tribune said the arrest occurred around 12:30 p.m. and his court date is reportedly set for June 6.
Patrick Hogan, who is a Metropolitan Airports Commission spokesperson, was reported to say once the airport police had completed their reports, more information would be released regarding Jarrett’s arrest.
