Fox releases trailer for new series, ‘Gotham,’

The trailer for the series, Gotham, has appeared online. The series tells the story behind Commissioner James Gordon and his rise to power in Gotham City.

The trailer says that the chaos will continue on in Gotham, and with so many villains, it’s difficult to say who might take the lead. Jada Pinkett Smith portrays the criminal named Fish Moone in Fox series, according to Rolling Stone. In the trailer, the actress says, “If someone has to take over, it might as well be me.”

At a panel on Monday for the show, Fox Entertainment Chairman Kevin Reilly talked about the characters from the DC comic series that viewers will see on the show. Ben McKenzie will be playing Detective James Gordon in the show and will be battling the likes of the Riddler (Cory Michael Smith) and others.

Also appearing in the series are Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock and Camren Bicondova as Catwoman. Gotham comes to Fox from DC Comics and Warner Bros. Television, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
