General Motors continues to reveal there are more vehicle problems, with the automaker issuing four more recalls, for a total of 2.42 million vehicles, on Tuesday.

The additional recalls bring the total number of affected vehicles past 12 million for 2014. According to the Chicago Tribune, the first recall is over issues with a weak shift cable, which led to 18 crashes. This recall affects more than 1 million 2004 to 2008 Chevrolet Malibu and 2005 to 2008 Pontiac G6s.

Some models of the Malibu and G6 were recalled previously due to brake lamp wiring harness issues.

The second recall is for more than 1.3 million 2009 to 2014 Buick Enclave, Chevy Traverse, GMC Acadia and 2009 to 2010 Saturn Outlook vehicles. GM said that the front safety lap belt cables can fall apart over time.

On a much smaller scale compared to the previous two recalls issued today, is one for 1,402 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV vehicles from 2015 because of passenger-side air bags that could potentially not fully deploy should there be an accident, reports The New York Times.

And finally 58 2015 Chevy Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD vehicles were recalled because they have a fuse box that could loosen and start a fire.
