The 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class may have been inducted last month, but fans of the groups that were toasted during the ceremony will finally get to see the event. HBO will air the ceremony starting on May 31, the network said today.
The class includes Kiss, Nirvana, Daryl Hall & John Oates, Linda Ronstadt and Cat Stevens. Brian Epstein, who managed The Beatles, and Rolling Stones producer Andrew Loog Oldham were also inducted, as was The E Street Band.
Many of the guests that attended the ceremony include Lorde, Chris Martin, Bruce Springsteen, Carrie Underwood, Stevie Nicks, Glenn Frey, Emmylou Harris, Tom Morello, Sheryl Crow, Questlove, Michael Stipe, Kim Gordon, St. Vincent, Joan Jett, Bonnie Raitt, Youssou N’Dour, Art Garfunkel and Peter Asher.
HBO will play the ceremony first on Saturday, May 31 at 8 p.m. and then several times throughout June. HBO2 will also air the ceremony beginning on June 3.
The ceremony took place on April 10 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for the first time.
Performances during the show include Springsteen & The E Street Band doing “The E Street Shuffle” and “Kitty’s Back” and Hall & Oates singing “Sara Smile.” Underwood performed Ronstadt’s “Different Drum” and Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens) sang “Father And Son” and “Peace Train.”
