Jason Aldean was the main headliner at the recent Indianapolis 500 concert which lead up to the big race today. Before Aldean took the stage to perform in front of a packed audience, he took time to discuss his follow up album to Night Train.

Billboard reported that this event landed in the middle of Aldean’s Burn It Down tour and many stadium stops are already sold out.

Aldean also broke the news that his next album would be released at the end of this year or early September. "A new single is coming, probably coming the end of June. We’re getting geared up for all that stuff right now. Between that and the tour, it’s going to be a busy year for us," said the "1994" singer.

This performance kicked off a new partnership that Aldean has made with Firestone, CMT reported.

"It’s a big feather in our cap to have those guys on board with us. I’ve never wanted to be involved with something that didn’t represent what I was about and I feel like Firestone is one of those Americana sort of brands that has been around forever and for me… I would never do a deal with like Rave Hairspray or something.”
