Retired ice skater Johnny Weir has announced on Twitter that he and his husband, Victor Voronov have reconciled, calling off their plans to divorce. There were rumors last month that the two decided against really calling it quits, but today’s tweet confirmed it.
Back in March, Weir announced on Twitter that he and Voronov were no longer together, adding, “My heart hurts, and I wish him well.” A month before the Sochi Winter Olympics, which reignited Weir’s celebrity status, he faced domestic abuse charges for a fight with Voronov.
However, things appeared to be smoothing over between the two. TMZ claimed in April that they weren’t going to get divorced and that Weir was even going to move back into the home he shared with Voronov.
Still, Voronov told Us Weekly that the divorce was “100 percent still happening.”
Something happened between then and now, as Weir said on Twitter that, “My husband and I have happily reconciled. Please respect our privacy and integrity at this time.” In another message, he wrote, “Love is dangerous. Love is safe. Love is ugly. Love is beautiful. To love hard, is the greatest gift, even with all it's flaws. Keep shining.”

This past weekend, Weir reported on fashion at the Kentucky Derby with Tara Lipinski. The two have become a popular duo since calling the Winter Olympics together in February and also reported on the Oscars in March.
