Justin Bieber treated mom Pattie Mallette to a Los Angeles Clippers playoff game on Sunday, but it seems the pop star may not have been entirely welcome by fans in the Staples Center.
According to E! News, the 20-year-old singer and his mom sat courtside for game four against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Mother’s Day. While the two may have been laughing it up and taking plenty of pictures together, they certainly didn’t receive a warm cheer from the crowd.
One source told E! News, “The entire place booed him when Staples Center cameras put him on the jumbotron.”
Bieber continued to tweet about his loving mom throughout the night. But there was no mention of the crowd’s reaction to his presence at the game.
Daily Mail reports that despite the boos, a number of young fans still approached the star for a autographs and pictures.
