Kim Jong Un is going to be the star of his own video game, although it’s very unlikely that he will actually get to play it himself. The game was developed by Moneyhorse, which is based in Atlanta, with tongue firmly planted in cheek.

The game is titled Glorious Leader! and the company released a trailer last week. It shows off the retro, side-scrolling game play, with Kim receiving the ultimate mission - destroying Americans and capitalist enemies. Kim survives various challenges, from paratroopers to a tank. At the end, he meets Dennis Rodman in a basketball court.

“The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea commands you to know that the capitalistic pigs at Moneyhorse LLC, are developing Glorious Leader! , an epic tale about the triumph of Kim Jong Un over the entire American army,” Moneyhorse stated. “Battle through 7 unique levels as you defeat waves of imperialists, combat over-the-top bosses, and ride unicorns!”

Moneyhorse CEO Jeff Miller told The Guardian that his interest in North Korea lead him to develop the game. His young company knows that the game might be seen as controversial, noting that they have to “carefully walk the line of satire without being an apologist for the regime,” notes Time.

The game will first be released for PC before the end of the year, and will also be available for mobile devices. Miller said he released details long before the game would be available to gauge interest and see what the backlash would be.
