A possible collaboration between Justin Bieber and Michael Jackson is in the works according to Epic Records Chairman and CEO L.A. Reid.

Billboard reported that Reid had been working on Jackson's Xscape album and he signed Bieber back in 2009 to Island Records.

A track was leaked online called, "Slave 2 The Rhythm" that was leaked last year with vocals from both Jackson and Bieber but the track was quickly removed from being online. Fans will note that "Slave 2 The Rhythm" is featured on Xscape but the song does not feature Bieber.

In an interview with Access Hollywood Reid discussed a possible song that would feature both Bieber and Jackson.

“I signed Justin, so I feel a loyalty. I feel like I should protect him. That’s my relationship with him. But ‘Slave 2 The Rhythm’ didn’t include him per my direction … If it hadn’t been leaked, it would have been featured but it sort of took the wrong turn. But you know what? We’re gonna revisit that," said Reid.
