The lineup for the 2014 LouFest in St. Louis has been announced and features some major names in the music industry including, Outkast, Cake and the Arctic Monkeys.
Billboard reported that this years lineup for the two-day festival will feature 40 bands. The festival is set to be held on September 6-7 at Forest Park's Central Field.
This will be the fifth year in a row that the festival will be taking place and over 30,000 people are expected to attend. This year will also feature a fourth stage and the most bands yet to play the festival.
The LouFest lineup will also included performances from Matt & Kim, Portugal. The Man, Future Islands, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Kelis, Washed Out, RAC and Delta Spirit, among others, CBS added.
This years festival will showcase some local talent from the St. Louis area. Well known local bands Old Salt Union, indie rockers Pretty Little Empire, and the funk-soul outfit Big Brother Thunder and The Master Blasters, will all be featured during the festival.
It comes as no surprise that Outkast will be once again playing another festival, they have already been billed as major headliners at some of the top festivals around the world this summer.
