Macaulay Culkin's band, The Pizza Underground, had beer tossed at them and were booed off the stage on Sunday night at the Dot to Dot Festival in Nottingham.
The group, who switches lyrics in songs to sing about pizza, lasted all of 15 minutes into their gig at the festival before music fans before fans turned on them, reports the Nottingham Post. They managed to cover just a couple songs before fans began pelting them with beer and booing them.
"It just sounds awful. I can't believe he is doing this. Why bother? It must go down well in America or something," one concertgoer said.
Still despite how poorly treated they were by the audience, the former Home Alone star seemed to take it in stride telling fans who were drenching them in beer, "Why are you throwing those? I'd rather drink them!"
After attempting one more song, the 33-year-old quickly thanked the crowd, "That's the end of the show. Goodnight," before getting out of there.
After the show, the group took to Twitter and wrote: "Thank you so much Nottingham and dot to dot. Sorry that a couple people ruined it for everyone."
According to The Independent, the Dot to Dot organizers expressed unhappiness that people had to ruin the set for everyone and added that they hoped the band would play in the city again sometime down the road.
