A manhunt in Florida has come to an end after the murder suspect was found dead on Thursday evening.
According to WESH, Rick Adderly, who was accused of killing his wife, Liza Adderly, has been found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
News13 reported that 54-year-old’s body was found in a cemetery next to his late son’s grave. The couple’s 18-year-old son died in a car accident two years ago.
Deputies said that Adderly, whose alias is Julian Paris, shot his wife in front of their three children ages 15, 13 and 4, on Wednesday when the couple met at a park.
"It shows how brazen he was to come here in broad daylight and shoot this woman in broad daylight in front of multiple witnesses, including juveniles," said Orange County Sheriff's Office spokesman Jeff Williamson. "I think it speaks a lot about the person and the crime itself. It's heinous."
The children are now staying with family members.
