Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher took to Twitter shortly after the Star Wars: Episode VII cast was finally announced on Tuesday. The two sounded excited that they could finally officially talk about returning to the roles of Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa.
Hamill wrote that he has been completely “knocked out” by the talent shown during the first table read in London. That new cast includes veterans Max Von Sydow, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver and Andy Serkis. John Boyega, Domhnall Gleeson and Daisy Ridley were also announced on Tuesday. “The saga is in superb hands,” Hamill added.
UK table read- I was knocked out by the diverse & extraordinarily talented new cast members. WOW they're good! The saga is in superb hands.

Meanwhile, Fisher has been a bit more lighthearted with fans on the social media site. “May the Chapter VII be with you...always. Or at least until 2015. I love you....you know,” she wrote, but was quickly corrected by fans. Star Wars movies aren’t chapters. They’re episodes!
“CHAPTER 7 is the PORN version of Episode 7 . Chapter 8 & a half is a little of both,” she responded. “Here's the correct vernacular version now & then g'nite...my galaxy questers
..May the Episode 7 be with you. Always...I love u--you know x.”
She then said that fans should blame her dog, Gary, for the error.

The Star Wars casting isn’t quite done, though, according to reports. There’s still one more female role left to be cast.
Star Wars: Episode VII, which will be directed by J.J. Abrams, opens in theaters on Dec. 18, 2015. Harrison Ford is also returning to play Han Solo.
