The former Golden State Warriors head coach is heading back to the commentator booth and will be alongside Jeff Van Gundy for the rest of the 2014 NBA playoffs.
According to The Associated Press, Jackson signed a multi-year deal with ESPN and will start calling the Eastern Conference finals series between the Miami Heat and the Indiana Pacers with Mike Breen and Van Gundy. He will also call the NBA Finals.
Jackson worked alongside Van Gundy and Breen for years until he left to be the Warriors head coach in 2012. The Warriors decided to part ways with him last week shortly after the team was eliminated in the first round by the Los Angeles Clippers.
ESPN made the announcement in a tweet on Saturday morning using the former head coach's signature saying, "Mama, there goes that man."
