Maroon 5 will be releasing their fifth studio album V on September 2nd and the band has signed with Interscope Records to release their album. A new single from the album will be released this summer.
The Hollywood Reporter added that following the news of the band inking a deal with Interscope, they also signed a worldwide tour deal with Live Nation. The tour dates for an upcoming world tour are expected to be announced in the next few weeks.
The band has been recording V in L.A. and this new album will feature some high profiled producers including; Max Martin, Benny Blanco, Ryan Tedder, Shellback and Sam Martin.V will also feature the return of long-time keyboardist Jesse Carmichael. Camichael was not featured on the band's 2012 album Overexposed.
Billboard added that Overexposed debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard charts and was produced by teh team that is currently working on V.
Overexposed featured the singles, "Daylight" "Payphone" and "One More Night."
The album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, and was produced by the same guys as the forthcoming "V" release.
