Reports indicate that R&B singer/songwriter Mary J. Blige has had some issues when it comes to debt. Despite selling millions of records, touring worldwide, guest starring in television shows, and having endorsements she still has had money issues. She cannot seem to escape financial woes.
Blige was able to pay the $900 thousand plus debt in a New Jersey court. However, she still owes another $3.4 million for back income taxes, reported by TMZ.
The 43 year old Blige and her husband Kendu Issacs own a home in Saddle River, according to New Jersey News.
The nine-time Grammy Award winner has released albums such as , My Life, Share My World, Mary, and most recently A Mary Christmas. Her early work made her name as being one of the best R&B vocalists of her generation. With that being said, time will tell if the megastar will be able to get a grip on the rest of her debts.
