Even though Naya Rivera has been dealing with rumors surrounding her future on Glee, she has been dropped from her record deal with Columbia Records. The Glee star never released a full-length with Columbia, she signed with the label back in 2011.
Billboard reported that Rivera was one of the first Glee cast members to receive a record deal following the success of the show.
Last September, she released her debut single "Sorry" which featured her then-boyfriend Big Sean but the song did not find success. "Sorry" did not chart on the Hot 100 charts and has sold only 34,000 downloads.
Big Sean and Rivera were engaged but the couple recently called off the wedding.
Rivera plays Santana Lopez on the Fox show. It was reported that Rivera was written out of the most recent season finale but it had nothing to do with fellow co-star and friend Lea Michele, E! Online reported.
Lea Michele found success with her first solo album, Louder and fellow Glee cast members, including Darren Criss and Amber Riley, are still working on their first solo length debuts.
