Jimmy Fallon has announced that when Neil Young and Jack White perform on The Tonight Show their performances will be pressed to vinyl live during the show. The late night host took to his Twitter account to confirm the news that the show would be making history tonight when Young performs.

The Monday night show will also feature comedian, Louis C.K. as a guest.

Billboard reported that this is not a new task for rock 'n' roll musician Jack White who has the current world record of recording and pressing a 7-inch version of his new song "Lazaretto" at Third Man Records in Nashville.

Fallon will be interviewing both White and Young, this will be Young's first appearance on the show. Fallon is known for his parody of Young as if he were singing the theme song to The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

White and Young recently worked together on a cover album, A Letter Home, on White's Third Man records, The LA Times added.
