Former Beatle, Paul McCartney recent cancelled two shows on his current Japan tour, "Out There Japan Tour 2014," due to a recent illness. Now McCartney has announced that he will have to cancel his entire Japan tour due to his illness.
The Chicago Tribune added that McCartney is being treated for a viral infection and requires complete rest, which is the singer is not able to perform.
A statement was released on behalf of McCartney and the tour. "I was really looking forward to playing in Japan again after we had such an amazing time here in November," he said in a statement, adding that it was "hugely disappointing." He also extended his thanks and understanding to his Japanese fans for their love, messages and understanding.
McCartney last toured Japan back in November to sold out crowds, BBC added.
The former Beatle cancelled his show in Tokyo this Sunday along with the makeup performance that was scheduled a day earlier. It appears that he came down with this illness on Friday. Shortly after not feeling well he cancelled his Saturday concert at the National Stadium in Tokyo.
