The cause of death of Peaches Geldof has remained a mystery since it happened on April 7. An autopsy report came back inconclusive but the results of the toxicology report are expected to be released Thursday and rumors state it will show she died of a heroin overdose.
The 25-year-old daughter of musician Bob Geldof’s mother, Paula Yates, died of the same cause back in 2000 when the television presenter was just 11. Geldof was said to be obsessed with the death of her mother, who was found dead with Geldof’s then 4-year-old sister Tiger Lily at home with her.
According to The Times, it will be officially announced on Thursday. Geldof was caring for her 11-month old son when she was found unconscious at her London home.
As we previously reported, UK police are considering the death as a “non-suspicious, unexplained sudden death."
Her father said in a statement at the time, "We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us. Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?"
Geldoff left behind a husband, Tom Cohen, and two sons under the age of 2.
