Indie rock and alternative fans in southern California will be treated to a two-day music festival which will feature some of the biggest names in rock. The FYE Fest will be taking place in Los Angeles on Aug. 23-24. The lineup has now been announced.

Phoenix and the Strokes will be headlining on Saturday and Sunday. Members of the Strokes will also be playing as solo acts. Vocalist Julian Casablancas and guitarist Albert Hammond, Jr. will both playing their own set.

Billboard reported that the festival will be taking place at LA Sports Arena & Exposition Park.

Other artists that will be playing the festival include Grimes, Future Islands, Interpol, Against Me!, Real Estate and El-P and Killer Mike's Run the Jewels, these acts will be playing on Saturday. On Sunday Haim, Blood Orange, Flying Lotus, Earl Sweatshirt and the Blood Brothers will all be playing.

The LA Times reported that the festival usually has been held in Los Angeles State Historic Park in Chinatown but that site is currently undergoing extensive renovations.
