Rapper and master of the musical cameo Pitbull will be hosting Fox’s New Year’s Eve live show this year, the network said. The show will be co-produced by Endemol and Pitbull’s own production company, Honey I’m Home.

Pitbull’s New Year’s Revolution will be broadcast live from Miami and will feature musical performances throughout the night. A two-hour special will air life starting at 8 p.m. through 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31. After an hour of local news, Pitbull comes back for another hour to countdown until the clock strikes midnight. But the festivities won’t end, as Pitbull has another half hour of performances, continuing until 12:30 a.m.

Endemol is producing through its new Endemol LIVE division. The company has an exclusive development deal with Pitbull, whose real name is Armando Christian Perez.

“It's very exciting to bring Endemol, FOX and my new production company, Honey I'm Home, together to create a LIVE New Year's Eve show,” Pitbull said in a statement. He added that there should be at least one New Year’s Eve party outside of New York.

“New Year's Eve is officially in Miami and hosted by yours truly, Mr. Worldwide,” Pitbull said. “P.S. Whatever happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but whatever happens in Miami never happened, Daleee!”

Pitbull recently released Global Warming: Meltdown and can be heard on Ke$ha’s “Timber” and Christina Aguilera’s “Don’t Stop the Party.” He has also worked with Jennifer Lopez on several tracks, including “Dance Again” and “On The Floor.” He will also perform “We Are One (Ole Ola),” the 2014 FIFA World Cup anthem.
