Quentin Tarantino is apparently ready to put all that pent-up anger about The Hateful Eight script leaking earlier this year and is reportedly planning to shoot it this November.
The Hateful Eight is set to be another Western, following Tarantino’s smash success with Django Unchained in 2012. While speaking at the Cannes Film Festival last week, Tarantino said he had calmed down after his initial public outburst about the script leaking. He said he still had work to do on the script, but he was not in any immediate rush to do so.
However, ShowBiz 411 reported over the weekend that Tarantino has set a November start date for production. The site also notes that Christoph Waltz, who gave Oscar-winning performances in Tarantino’s last two movies (Django and Inglorious Basterds) will not be in the film.
Instead, the cast will be made up of the actors who appeared at the live-reading in Los Angeles recently, including Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Dern and Michael Madsen. Kurt Russell, James Remar, Amber Tamblyn, Walt Goggins, and Zoe Bell also took part.
Filming would take place on location in Wyoming.
Tarantino’s initial anger included suing Gawker for posting a link to a site that hosted the leaked script. Earlier this month, he decided to drop the lawsuit.
