Over the weekend, a Starbucks gold card member named Andrew decided to break the previous record-holding “Quadriginoctuple Frap” by creating a Sexagintuple Vanilla Bean Mocha Frappuccino.
Though Andrew didn’t pay a cent for the $54.75 drink thanks to Starbucks’s gold card membership deal (buy 12 drinks, get the 13th free), he did drink the 128-ounce espresso Frappuccino in five days, according to The L.A. Times.
All it took to make the pricey drink was a willing barista and 60 espresso shots, some mocha, caramel, and hazelnut drizzle and a bit of protein powder, plus Andrew’s own massive cup.
“It took a few minutes to figure out all the math, but in the end, it took about 55 shots to get us over the $50 line, and we just rounded it up to 60 to make it easy,” Andrew told The Consumerist. “I gotta say, it was delicious.”
The previous record-holding drink was assembled with 48 espresso shots and other substances, like two full bananas and some matcha powder, to create a $47.30 beverage.
