Robin Thicke doesn’t seem to be stopping in his quest to get his wife of eight years, Paula Patton, back. At Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards, he thanked her in his acceptance speech and even performed a song dedicated to her.
While up on stage accepting the award for Top R&B Song, Thicke thanked her for “putting up” with him for so many years. The parents to 3-year-old Julian were high school sweethearts.
"Most importantly I'd like to thank my wife for her love and support and for putting up with me for all these years,” he said, E! Online reports.
Before he launched into his performance of “Get Her Back,” Thicke told the crowd "All right y'all, help me get her back!"
As we previously reported, "I should've kissed you longer / I should've held you stronger / And I'll wait for forever for you.”
Thicke and Patton announced their separation back in February. He’s been making it very clear he wants to reconcile ever since then.
