Robin Thicke is proving he’s still heartbroken over his split from wife of eight years, Paula Patton, and he will do anything to win her back. He’s now using his new song as a public plea for her to forgive him.

The “Blurred Lines” singer will debut this new song during his performance at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday and it’s called "Get Her Back.”

"I should've kissed you longer / I should've held you stronger / And I'll wait for forever for you,” he sings on the track, according to TMZ.

Thicke and Patton, who were high school sweethearts, announced their separation back in Febraury. Thicke has made it clear he wants to make things right with her, saying it onstage during several performances since then.

Patton recently spoke out about the split for the first time, telling Vanity Fair there will always be a “deep love” between the two, who share 3-year-old Julian.

“We’ve known each other since we were teenagers. All I can tell you is there’s a deep love there—always was, and always will be,” she said.
