The Rolling Stones were the headlining act at the Rock in Rio Lisbon festival Thursday night, but they weren’t the only rock legends on stage. They were joined by Bruce Springsteen, who happened to be vacationing in Portugal.

Springsteen joined the Stones on stage to sing and play guitar on the Exile on Main Street track “Tumbling Dice,” just as he did back in December 2012 at their Newark show, notes Yahoo Music. Mick Jagger and Springsteen shared the verses, clearly enjoying each other’s company. The crowd went crazy when the two shared a hug.

As Rolling Stone points out, there may have been hints that Springsteen was going to appear at the show. His wife, Patti Scialfa, posted a Throwback Thursday photo on Instagram, showing a previous meeting with Jagger. “STONES PLAY AT MIDNIGHT LISBON #RockInRio#Lisbon,” she added.

Guitarist Gary Clark Jr. also performed “Respectable” with the Stones and Mick Taylor joined them for a 10-minute version of “Midnight Rambler.” Former U.S. President Bill Clinton was also in the crowd.

Springsteen has also performed Stones classics onstage himself, with “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” and “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” often popping up in his setlists.
