In the music video for Sara Bareilles’ hit single “I Choose You”, the singer helps two real-life couples get engaged.

The 34-year-old artist, who also sings “Brave”, recently released the video in which a heterosexual couple Matt and Chelsea from Los Angeles and same-sex couple Aly and Andrea from Denver illustrate the meaning of Bareilles’ song and choose to spend the rest of their lives together, according to E! News.

In the video Aly and Matt are the ones popping the question. As Bareilles sings the lyrics, a compilations of footage of the events leading up to the proposals.

Aly prepares to ask Andrea to marry her by creating paintings representative of their love story while Matt creates a “memory lane” out of dioramas of different colored Post-It notes for his bride-to-be Chelsea, stated E! News.

Matchmaker Barielles’ voice intertwines with the proposal preparation, “There was a time when I would have believed them/ If they told me you could not come true/ Just love's illusion, But then you found me and everything changed/ And I believe in something again.”

At the end of the video the newly engaged couples, fans of Bareilles, and their teary-eyed family members and friends are serenaded by the vocalist in person.
