Hip hop mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs has been given an honorary degree from Howard University.
E Online reports how on May 10, Combs received an honorary degree from Howard University. In addition, Combs was the commencement speaker at the Howard University graduation ceremony. Combs attended Howard University for two years as business major but dropped out in 1990 to pursue a career in music.
According to Billboard other individuals who were recieving honorary degrees from Howard University included Wolf Blitzer, Clive Callender, Benny Golson and Indra Nooyi. Before, Combs many other celebrities served as Howard University commencement speakers including Oprah Winfrey, Hillary Clinton, Colin Powell and Maya Angelou.

In March, Combs announced he was going back to his 'Puff Daddy' and claims that he never changed it. In 2001, Combs told MTV News that he didn't want to be called 'Puffy Daddy' anymore. Combs stated, "No more Puff Daddy — the first week in June we’re gonna have a name change ceremony."
