Shakira teamed up with brand Activia for her single “La La La (Brazil 2014)”, which is featured on the One Love, One Rhythm: The Official 2014 FIFA World Cup Album, not only to promote the upcoming world event but to support the World Food Programme.
The 37 year old singer didn’t hold back with her ability to pull in some famous friends for the video, which she released on her website, including soccer-superstar husband Spaniard Gerard Piqué. Other soccer and World Cup superstars include a couple of Piqué’s FC Barcelona teammates, Brazil’s Neymar and Argentina’s Lionel Messi, along with Frenchman Éric Abidal and Columbian Éric Abidal. There is also a brief cameo of the couple’s son Milan kicking a soccer ball.
The World Food Programme ensures that every man, woman, and child has the right food for a healthy and productive life. Shakira and Activia’s involvement is to support and promote awareness of the cause, asking for just a $5 donation which will feed a child school meals for a month. In return receive an exclusive “Thank you” from the Columbian bombshell herself.
