Shelly Sterling, the estranged wife of Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling, has again vowed to continue fighting to remain owner of the team, even as the NBA tries to push her husband out. In an interview after Donald Sterling’s with CNN, Sterling said that she will do whatever she has to and even accused the league of sexism.

Sterling spoke with the Today Show’s Savannah Guthrie after Sterling’s CNN interview aired Monday night. She told Guthrie that she was “very angry” after watching it and even cried a little.

“Why am I the victim when he's the perpetrator? If somebody killed somebody, does the wife have to stand trial too?” she asked Guthrie.

Last week, Sterling first made it clear that she wants to keep co-ownership of the team and has tried to distance herself from the racist comments that got Donald Sterling in trouble. She previously told ABC News that she was shocked by Donald Sterling’s comments.

Sterling also said that her husband was suffering from dementia, but that’s not an excuse. “I don't make excuses for anybody,” she told Today.

Later, she was asked if she thought that the NBA was sexist by trying to push her out as well. She agreed, adding, “Would an owner's wife say the same thing, and would the owner be asked to leave the NBA? Or would they just say, 'Well, she's only the wife.'''

Pierce O’Donnell, Sterling’s attorney, added, “She had nothing to do with it. Is this because she's a woman?”

Sterling did say that the NBA is making the right decision by trying to push her husband out, but, again, she still thinks she should remain. “I don't agree what their decision is for me. I wholly feel that I've done nothing wrong,” she said.
