Stevie Nicks is hard at work on her next album, 24 Karat Gold and is also getting ready to head back out on tour with Fleetwood Mac.
Billboard reported that the album which is currently titled 24 Karat Gold: Songs From the Vault will feature lost tracks that Nicks had written and recorded but had never been released or been heard on any other album.
The tracks that have been chosen for this album have been all newly recorded and co produced by Nicks, Dave Stewart and Waddy Wachtel.
The "Edge of Seventeen" singer recently announced that she had been working on 18 tracks in the past three weeks for the album and that this is the "fastest" she has ever been recorded.
Along with working on her new album and heading out on tour the musical legend was recently honored at the BMI Pop Awards in Los Angeles, where she received the BMI Icon award for her songwriting achievements, The Huffington Post added.
During her acceptance speech she spoke about what it was like coming up in the industry and this was truly a once in a lifetime honor. "Of all the awards, I have to say, tonight is the night of my life. Because it means you noticed, you get it, that behind all of the madness and the music is a songwriter. So many times no one bothers to notice, and tonight, you have," said Nicks.
